This time, we give you chances to film and record the real China! Regardless of Hot pot, mahjong, math maniac or Beijing Opera、 martial arts Suona Horn、Erhu, you can film anything you want.

1. Impressing you most experiences in China
With the concept of "Tell The Story of China well, build a harmonious earth together", “My China Surprise” Short Film Project aims to show the real national conditions, culture and social life of China to the world, convey the temperature and warmth of China, and promote communication and understanding among the global Generation Z.
2. Theme
“My China Surprise” Short Film Project encourages international people who are or have been to China to personalize their current or previous experience of studying, working and living in China through the first perspective, and vividly tell their real and interesting stories about China.
3. Requirement of videos
1) Creativity: the entries should be original works. Plagiarism is not allowed. Creative works in form and content are preferred.
2) Theme: the work should be in line with the theme and concept of the activity, and the content should be positive and inspiring, reflecting the spirit of the new era and the spirit of a community with a shared future for mankind.
3) Various forms: the video content can be presented in various forms, such as speech, interview, short story, talent show, talk show Vlog, etc.
4. Submission period:
From May 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022.
5. Participation requirement
Persons with foreign nationality. There is no limitation of age and occupation.
6. Ways of participating
Foreign nationals can participate in this project individually or as a team.
7. Workrequirement
The participating video works shall be recorded in English or Chinese and shall not exceed 5 minutes in length. The video works shall be shot horizontally with clear pictures.

13. Relevant Statement
1) “My China Surprise” Short Film Project is a public welfare activity, and no individual, group or company shall collect fees in the name of the activity;
2) All entries must be based on the theme of "My China Surprise". Works that do not meet the relevant criteria will be disqualified.
3) All the works should be created by the participant. If plagiarism or identical manuscripts are found, the selection qualification of the works will be cancelled.
4) The organizer has the right to use the entries for publicity, publication, distribution, display, exhibition and other activities;
5) The Organizer shall not bear any legal liabilities arising from disputes including (but not limited to) portrait rights, reputation rights, privacy rights, copyright, trademark rights, etc. In case of such disputes, the creator shall bear all legal liabilities, and the Organizer reserves the right to cancel his/her participation qualification and recover the award;
6) The Organizer reserves the right of final interpretation for any objection to the rules of the collection of works. The Organizing Committee shall further formulate rules and make relevant interpretation for any unmentioned matters related to the collection of works.
